I found an easy recipe dating from nineteenth century, called: passion chestnuts .
It seems to have aphrodisiac properties.

Put the already peeled chestnuts to soak in Muscat-wine for a few hours.
Boil them in the same soaking liquid, in a pot covered with a lid, until cooked (around 20').
Before serving, garnish with a few pistachios, cinnamon and honey.
